GEST 2025 SUPPLEMENTARY REGS
Season:
The season will consist of 10 (ten) rounds plus two reserve rounds if conditions allow.
To qualify for a Championship Trophy you must complete 70% of the race season.
You will be able to drop 6 (six) race scores at the end of the season.
We will do our very best to complete all rounds, subject to force majeure. If a race meeting must be cancelled it MAY NOT be rescheduled.
MEMBERSHIP:
This years membership will be available through the ACU online system (members.acu.org.uk).
Single rider membership is £50.00.
Direct Additional Family Member £10
Auto £1 for 1st Year increasing to £50 thereafter.
After the first meeting we will be looking at lap times, if you are deemed to be in the wrong group you will be asked to move up a group and take the last placed points in that group. If you think you have put yourself in the wrong group, please ask to be moved up before the start of the season.
EVENT ENTRY:
All booking in will be done via the Go Race website www.goracemx.co.uk
Entries will be on a first come first served basis with members having initial priority.
Entry for members will open from Monday two weeks before the meeting at 8.00pm.
Non-members can book in from Monday one week before the meeting at 8.00pm.
Non-members booking in before this time may have their entry denied.
If you need to cancel your entry it must be by no later than 8pm the Friday before the meeting. After this time you may receive a refund subject to club discretion.
Please adhere to entry times as we cannot delay the start of the day.
Entry will close at 8.00pm on the Friday before the meeting.
GROUPS
Adult groups:
GMX 1 & 2
GMX 3 (open)
GMXV 35 + as of the 31st December 2025 (Riders must be 35 before 31st December 2025)
GMXV 50 + as of the 31st December 2025 (Riders must be 50 before the 31st December 2025)
(Unless there are excessive numbers GMXV groups will be run together)

Groups may be separated or merged depending on numbers and track conditions on the day:
*Youth Open Riders can ride in adult groups if they are 17 before 31st December 2025, if a rider is under this age under special circumstances the Committee may allow a Youth Rider to ride in an adult group if space is available*.
RACE FEES 2025:
Adult, Youth open/Youth 125 £60.00. On the day entry £65.00.
BW/SW £50.00. On the day entry £55.00
Juniors and Autos £40.00. On the day entry £45
1 event licence £20.00
An additional fee may also be charged for camping at our events to cover any additional costs or security measures that are deemed necessary by the committee.
MARSHALS:
Marshals expenses will be:
£65.00 for full day.
If you can supply a marshal, please let us know when you book in via the Go Race booking in system.
TECHNICAL/RACE CONTROL:
At all times during an event, race or practice, it is the sole responsibility of the rider/parent to ensure that all their entered motorcycles are of a safe and sound condition and no defects are present. Technical Control will consist of the following minimum checks for conformity when the rider arrives at the waiting zone / start line.
a. Gold/Silver Helmet stamp displayed
b. Rider has Body Armour on
c. The Clerk of the Course can select random machines for checks at any time during a meeting. Clubs may, if they wish, offer a full Technical Control Check, which details should be stipulated in the event SR’s.
You will not be able to enter the event unless the requirements are met.
*Unless your bike displays the correct race numbers you will not be scored in the race.*
Please note, random fire extinguisher checks will be carried out throughout the season.
Random drug/alcohol testing may take place under extreme circumstances. If you are suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, we will ask you to participate in a test. A refusal will be deemed a positive test. If you test positive for alcohol you will not be able to race and NO refund will be given. If you test positive for drugs you will be ejected from the meeting immediately and reported to the ACU. NO refund will be given and membership will be revoked.
Electric Bikes
Electric bikes will be allowed at our events, these must comply with the ACU Standing Regulations section 5.16 page 17.
All machines will be subjected to testing inspection, and you will be directed to a different location for parking.
Section 5.16.2
a. E4 Class – An electric motor with a maximum output of up to approximately 4kw.
b. E5 Class- An electric motor with a maximum output of up to approximately 5kw.
c. Automatic class – An electric motor with a maximum output of up to 8.5kw.
d. MX2 Class – An electric motor with a maximum output of up to 48hp/36kw.
e. MX1 – An electric motor with a maximum output of up to 60hp/45kw.
f. Open Class (adult) – An electric motor with a maximum output of up to 60hp/45kw.
Electric bikes are not to be ridden in the paddock.
The use of children’s electric bikes is also forbidden.
PRACTICE:
Practice will consist of two laps, a minimum of one complete lap must be completed.
TIMING:
All races will be electronically timed, lap scorers will be used as back up in case the system fails.
ALL RIDERS MUST NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING FLAG SIGNALS:
STATIONARY YELLOW FLAG:
Danger, take care. Ride with caution.
WAVED YELLOW FLAG:
Great Danger, prepared to stop, NO overtaking, a significant reduction in speed must be seen, jumps MUST NOT be attempted.
RED FLAG
ALL riders MUST stop. Riders must not pass any red flag unless authorised or directed to do so and then only proceed at a slow pace.
BLACK FLAG
Rider directed to stop racing immediately and leave the track.
YELLOW FLAG WITH BLACK CROSS
Last lap.
CHEQUERED FLAG
Race finished.
WHITE FLAG or WHITE FLAG WITH RED CROSS Stationary
Medical attention required.
WHITE FLAG or WHITE FLAG WITH RED CROSS Waved
Medical Crew & Officials in attendance on live racetrack. Proceed with extreme caution, riders must significantly reduce speed and roll each jump individually with no overtaking until passed the area of concern
Any rider ignoring flag signals will be given a penalty determined by the Clerk of The Course or possibly be black flagged.
It is your responsibility to know what the flags mean.
PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Parents/guardians are reminded that they are responsible for their children at ALL times. Ensure you know where your children are and that they stay within the confines of the event.
Paddock Behaviour:
NO RIDING IN THE PADDOCK AT ANY TIME. THIS INCLUDES SIDE-SADDLE OR ROLLING
If you are witnessed riding in the paddock, you may be issued with a £50.00 fine. You will be unable to enter any further GEST events until the fine has been paid.
Repeat offenders will no longer be able to take part at any GEST meetings or events.
MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT:
By joining GEST Hastings MCC Ltd, you agree to abide by these rules and regulations.
GEST operate a zero-tolerance policy to any verbal or physical abuse towards any of its officials, club members spectators or visitors to our events. Failure to do so may result in you being disqualified, ejected or banned from GEST MCC Events.
